Welcome !

Welcome to all viewers of this site!!!

Troop 32 in Southington is stronger than ever with a host of exciting events throughout the year! If you are even just thinking of joining Boy Scouts, please contact us through this site and we will be happy to follow up with any and all details you would require. Remember any boy that is between 11 (and entering 6th grade at school) to 18 years old can be a Scout. You do not need previous experience as a Cub Scout to be a Boy Scout. The only requirement is a joy of the outdoors and a desire to have fun and learn about leadership and morals!

We have a very active troop and enjoy active adult participation as leaders.  We encourage parents to be involved in any capacity they wish.  We are sponsored by the Lions Club in town.

Along with regular activities through out the year, our scouts attended camp during the summer of 2018 at Camp Norris in Northern Vermont and will camping closer to home this year. I look forward to answering any questions that you may have concerning our troop and hope you will attend one of our meetings.

we have the schedule for merit badges offered at summer camp.  Please read through this list, print it out, and discuss with your scout what merit badges they need for advancement in rank and other courses they want to learn more about this summer.  Turn your requests in to Mr Greer ASAP so we can get you registered for your preferred classes beore they get filled up.  Please note that first-year scouts have already been scheduled to attend the Wilderness Patrol to work on requirements for advancement in rank.  We will work with those scouts to get them scheduled to where they need to be.
